Curriculum Overview Geography 2023-24
At Newick, we love to develop our pupils' geographical knowledge and skills. We ask engaging enquiry questions to promote curiosity and fascination with our planet's physical and human features. Regularly, we relate our learning to scale; developing over the course of their primary education a sense of their place in the world and how this compares with life experiences in other locations.
We encourage our young people to ask, 'What's it got to do with me?'
We ensure to provide the access to building blocks needed to apply their learning to different contexts as they progress through the school.
