NewickOfsted & School Performance
After a long-awaited return from Ofsted, Newick CE Primary School has once again been recognised for the outstanding education we provide. It has been 14 years since our last inspection in 2011; an inspection that belonged to a different era of educational standards and expectations.
Since 2011, Ofsted has introduced multiple new frameworks, each more rigorous than the last, and schools are no longer awarded an overall effectiveness grade in the same way.
Three out of the five judgments from the Inspection on 10th and 11th June were graded as 'Outstanding', with two as a strong 'Good' .
With the majority of judgments graded as Outstanding and only one area for improvement, this is clearly demonstrating the exceptional standard of education we offer our pupils. Newick is also the highest performing school across all 27 schools in the Trust in a graded inspection under the current framework.
This is a powerful endorsement of the dedication, talent, and care shown by our entire staff team, and the vibrant, supportive community we are so proud to be part of.
