School Meals
We are proud to work with Relish for your children’s school dinners. Relish say:
It is our aim to deliver the best in-house catering service solution in the UK.
We are a team of caterers and have developed the support model to our school partners based on the wealth of experience we have gained in the education sector. There is no ‘one-size fits all’ service solution for any school and that is reflected in our unique approach to each client, in our bespoke build of support within the catering department and in the market-leading IT support system we have developed.
All allergen information is provided by the suppliers/manufacturers of the ingredients.
We believe we are a partnership with our schools and work hard to ensure we are accepted as part of the school support team. A school taking it's catering in-house comes hand in hand with our expert on-site support and provides our clients with the confidence to make the transition and, in turn, make their catering service as great as it can possibly be.
All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 in state-funded schools are eligible for free schools meals.
For pupils in Year 3 to Year 6, the current price is £3.10 per day.
All Parents/Carers will need to register via the Relish Parent Portal to pre-order their child’s meals:

We strongly encourage parents to discuss with their child(ren) which meal and dessert they would like to pre-order. Teachers will not be able to add/change lunch orders at registration.
You can order meals and make amendments up to midnight the night before and make cancellations up until 9am on the day.
For KS2 children all ordered meals must be paid for in advance. You will be unable to order a meal if your account it not in credit. You can top up your child's account via Arbor. Payment can be made by Arbor. Please note the Kitchen are unable to offer refunds due to absence, so please remember to cancel orders if your child is not in school.

For children with food intolerances and allergies, Relish have a dedicated team of medical diet nutritionists on hand to support allergen aware children and their parents.

The Government provide free meals to Reception, Year 1 & 2.
Free school meals are available to those children whose parents receive income support. If you think your child may be eligible for free meals please complete the online application via the East Sussex County Council's website using the following link:

Parents may wish to provide their children with a healthy packed lunch and also provide a healthy snack for breaktime.
The school is part of the Government's fruit scheme which provides a free piece of fruit for all infants each day.
